speedracer
I've been blindsided by wakes and have almost lost it. On the ocean its not usually a problem. In the bays is where ya gotta look out. You're getting sleepy. ....very sleepy.....
Lucky Basstard
I have always watched out for kayaks when I owned my boat. I always liked the guys wearing bright colors. I am now hoping to join the kayak club and just hope people are considerate out there. I was just wondering percentage wise how many boats actually look out for you guys? May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it. ~ Irish Blessing

Most people are pretty cool in my area but it's up to you to stay vigilante. I try to avoid exposure by getting to my spots by way of places boats can't go. I zip through mooring fields and shallows instead of taking the main channels. When I do have to cross boat traffic, I'm extremely careful. Still, there are some people who just don't care. You have to watch out for them.
