Fishfinder

Have my transducer mounted to my trolling motor. I notice when the motor is on not much shows on the fishfinder, it seems to have a hard time picking up strucure, etc. When the motor is not running it appears to show a more detailed picture.

I think the trolling motor may be causing interference. I run the ff off a seperate battery from the motor. Is the possible the prop is causing this?

View PostThe transducer was not mounted into the trolling motor, I attached it with a seperate bracket kit.

I am not sure what the skimmer is, I will have to check that out.

Yeah I used to have that on my old MK. Never had a problem reading bottom structure unless my ducer was broke.
