Greetings: When I post, how do I select the posts or partial posts of others as a reference?

Is that a cut and paste function?

I don't know how to use these posting tools.

Highlight the text, use the crtl key and the letter c simultaneously to copy, and ctrl+v to paste.

to make a new quote, use the [ and the word quote] to open a new quote box, and [ and /quote] to end the quote.

View PostYou see that big gray button that says "Quote" on it?

Click that.

And once you do that, you can highlight and remove any text that you do not wish to quote - just leave the

and

brackets in tact - you can delete as much or little of the quoted that you want. No reason to quote an entire post when you are only commenting on one sentence smile.gif
