You could have been like "someone I can't mention for political reasons" and bought a $4 plastic helicopter. Apparently giving gifts like that is now socially acceptable.

 

I'd have gone to the Christmas Tree Shops, their selection is much better, and for you, the location is pretty convenient, too, i assume.

OSJL is even more convenient--no bridge to cross. Plus, every time I go to the Christmas Tree Shop, I get reminded that it was my ex's favorite place to shop rolleyes.gif

 

I'm still wondering how she could drop $200 in a place where the most expensive item was like $6.99. She once bought about 30 bottles of sunscreen because it was $1.99 a bottle. When I asked her whether she was aware that sunscreen has an expiration date and loses its effectiveness, she looked at me like I had 3 heads.
