Poll: Obama favorability

Pretty lousey poll. No wonder there's no participation. You love Obama or you want him to fail??? What if you want him to succeed but you can see that he won't?

Merely telling the driver of your taxi that you're heading off a cliff doesn't mean that you WANT to go over the cliff.

Your possible poll responses suck, and don't allow for proper answers. Did you go to the Liberal Media School of Poll Question Writing, becaue these are obviously written by a neocommie.

Yes he's bad for America and so are his plans. But I don't like his plans, it's not that I want them to fail. It's more along the lines of him and his plans will fail, and cause severe damage. Hopefully those who got what they wanted will see what they get. Then maybe they will change their way of thinking or at least wake up and smell the coffee. Supporting someone just because of their party affiliation is just stupid, eliminate the parties and no more BS. For some reason no one is willing to eliminate party designation in fear of not having a party/team to blindly support.

I hope that he is good for America and that his plan succeeds. Only time will tell on this one.

So far I am happy with his work ethic. He has put in a lot of time and has gotten right to work on a tough situation. Faster than any president that I can remember.

This was a piss poor poll, completely constructed to classify people into two simple groups:

1) You love Obama

2) You want America to fail

No soup for you, Punk.

LMAO! You obviously didn't read about how he was suck a dick to Prime Minister Brown because he was "tired".

He's a friggin lightweight, and is going to get a lot of Americans killed for his socialist agenda.

I'm not convinced the leftward tilt will do anything other than get steeper, but that's another matter. Once adopted, entitlements will become politically impossible to roll back.

As for Obama, I don't dislike him personally, but I no longer harbor any illusions that he's exceptional in any way. I expected the liberal policies, but didn't expect him to push them when we could least afford it. I think his approach to the economy is all wrong. I think many of his appointments have been inexcusable. His foreign policy has been tentative and amateurish.

Mostly I'm disappointed in his lack of leadership. He should have submitted an economic proposal to congress, not let that buffoon Pelosi take the lead. Day one he should have attacked the earmarks, he failed. Instead of using this crisis to clean up government, he's using it to push a liberal political agenda. "We need a stimulus bill now, we'll get to the earmarks later." What a waste of political capital. He could have made some lasting improvements to the Washington circus, now his ability to hit them like a ton of bricks will fade more every day.

Do I hope his programs fail? I would say I hope he fails to get them funded. He'll probably get what he wants though, as a good share of my Republican buddies are no better at being fiscally responsible if there's 3 votes at stake.

It's refreshing to see someone step up and admit they were mistaken about the man. However, it's still a mystery how so many people got sucked in by his BS. He was always an empty shell - a man without substance. Now we're stuck with him for a long 4 years. We can only hope that the damage he causes is reversible.

Hey Dan...remember back before inauguration....everyone was saying that the mess we're in would prevent him from pushing through his liberal policies....that he WOULD HAVE TO TAKE A "CENTRIST" POSITION? Guess that's been debunked. redface.gif

Like you, I don't hate Obama. But I personally don't think what's he's doing will benefit the country.

I truly hope he proves me wrong.
