I'll have to go looking for some after work at castle island. Might go up to the roof and look out the window see if i can see any working the harbor anywhere else, see if i see any birds working and get a location. Would love a cod from shore, didnt even think it was possible here anymore

My bad, saw carson beach post from 16 and thought it was Boston you guys were talking about. I assume your cape? Not seeing much action from work in Boston harbor, might still make some scouts tonight. Might need to start a Boston harbor thread again, almost time

Yes, I have been waiting for the 2019 Boston Harbor Report.   Been tossing some soft plastics into the river systems on nice days.  Nothing happening, but trying out my new gear and braid for the first time.   Loving the braid...   

 

If using a casting egg, how long should the leader be in the early spring for Mystic and Charles?   I think mine are not reaching deep enough...  I'm digging these casting eggs after getting so many snags around Boston Harbor.   Nice to hold on to lures for multiple trips for a change.
