KevinB
anyone know a good cleaning agent, had a furnace blow back at the parents house, no one was home, luckily the fast thinking neighbors knew something was wrong and called the FD, but still left a nasty mess. CO meter record 250 something, eek. going to head down there this weekend to help clean up, good amount got on a freshly painted room, should I just tsp it and put another coat on? I just got done finishing the molding last week, ugg, my poor benny moore. Also a little on some new sofas, I'm thinking shopvac with curtain attachment. Not a good week

KevinB
smells a little like Penn station bus hub, but not that bad overall, the policy has a 5k deductible, not that much damage. 2 things I'm glad I did a couple years ago was, put in fireblocks, and replace a louver door with an old refinished one with a sweep/weatherstripping ,that led from the kitchen to the basement. It pretty much contained the majority of it. Looking at all sorts of dry erasers , recipes ,etc online.
