Russian Igor Panarin: U.S. Will Collapse in 2010. Sorry, America

March 04, 2009 U.S. News and World Report 11:18 AM ET | James Pethokoukis | Permanent Link | Print

Russian foreign policy expert Igor Panarin keeps pushing his prediction that America will collapse next year with Russian and China becoming the new word's leaders. (And a new global currency, too!). Among Panarin's signs of impending doom, according to the AP: 1) falling financial markets, 2) the recession, 3) the Citigroup bailout. 4) schools shootings, 5) the size of the U.S. prison population, 6) the number of gay men in America.

So BO's butt-kissing attempt to "reach out" to Russia was met with scorn, showed a lack of backbone, and signaled to the Russians that we are willing to pay the devil. Now that he has shown his hand, what does he do?

We go ahead with missile defense as stated by the president to Russia.

The no backbone comes from Americans who don`t support their country.

Sp, you are not that dense, are you? BO thought this would be a great breakthrough that he could share with the press and tout as a new age of international policy...the only problem is he didn't understand the Russians. They don't NEED to help us, so the offer was foolish to begin with.
