North Again

3 posts in this topic

I've had two fishless trips to the Salmon and Oswego Rivers this winter and am hoping to shake that off this weekend. I'll get the Saturday afternoon and have 48 hours to find fish. It'll be warm and the water should be up with snow melt, a set of conditions that I like. Steelies have begun to come in to spawn and I see good things happening for me. I'm due, I'm just plain due....

I'm tempted to bring the yak to hit the harbor areas on the lake and the SR estuary. I don't have decent paddling gloves, however, and am worried about how my hands will function with that cold water on them. Air temps will be pretty decent though.

Getting pumped!
