When you replace a rear treble with a siwash on the back of plug or metal, do you like the hook point to be up or down? I know up makes its more weedless, but does down increase hookups?

With plugs like metal lips and darters etc. that work in the upper part of the water column, point down acts like a keel. With lures that work the bottom of the water column, point up will make for less snags.
