FYI,

Stopped by the Rangers station today, to see if the fishing permits were in, and they were. The ranger said, they arrived about a week ago. I had tried earlier in Jan with no luck.

Still $50.00 and they are white this year. thumbsup.gif

In case there are those who don't know, you need a permit to fish Sandy Hook after dark.

Tight Lines, Lami

I had asked in the beach buggy forum about this before and did not get a clear answer.

The pass for the hook it is a gateway national recreation pass ?

Do the passes that they sell at Ft Tilden Queens( it is part of GNR area)get me access down there and of course vice versa. headscratch.gif

Thanks in advance

I think so, its a 2 wheel drive permit, parking at night only. I would call the ranger station for sure.

When I asked what took so long for the permit's, they said they were waiting on them from NY.

Hope this helps, Lami

View PostWhite?, gee, not a good match for the color of my vehicle..

I just keep placing the new one on top of the old one, on my chrome bumper. I now have a multi-colored one.

This year its another round sticker, same size as last year.

Cool, but I read somewhere here that white is not a good color for night fishingbiggrin.gif ,
