not too much different from any other 20 size daiwa. off the top of my head its 240-270 depending.

what will you be using it for? that should be enough line for even a 50lbs red drumwink.gif but just in case if youd like a great way to get more line is...braid backing.

either put some mono down then braid, then mono.

the way i do it is tape on the spool then about 150yrd yards of 20 or 30lbs braid then about 200ish yards of 17lbs tri mono. i use a bimmini to bimmini connection, but any mono to braid connection knot is great.

also doing this not only gives you increased line capacity but it saves on mono. instead of spooling 270 yds of mono everytime, you only need to spool up about 200yds.

hope this helps

I have a Saltist 40 that I use for sharking/surf fishing, and have about 300 yards of 40 lb suffix and a 100 yard topshot of 40 lb Suffix Tritanium.

I like the capacity, and the fact that I only have to change out a 100 yard stretch of line...not the who shebang.
