Rod suggestion for Penn mag 525

this was my first reel when I started with baitcasters awhile back. Couldn't control it back then so traded for a different reel. Now that I been casting for awhile I've decided to try again with new mag 525 extra. Fish mostly Hatteras and Assateaque.

Rods now in arsenal are:

12'-6" Outcast from Hatteras Outfitters with Daiwa 30 SHV with mag side plate

13'-4" Daiwa silver Casting rod with the Silver Daiwa 30 with mag side plate

11'-6" Tica with Daiwa 20 SHV

11'-6" Pinnacle with Daiwa 30 SHV Use this for throwing cinder blocks

I'm not a real strong caster and sometimes the outcast seems alittle stiff to me. I really like to throw the Tica because it seems to have alittle more flex.

Most cast with any of these is in the 90-120 yd range. So I guess I'm looking for something with alittle more flex to help with distance, but want to handle big drum or stripers on.

Hope I didn't confuse you with to much info, but thanks for any suggestions

Swap it out with the Daiwa 20 SHV. 525s balance well with rods 10-11.5 ft. and the reels are close in size. You can always grab the 4 rods, the 525, a ball weighted to what you throw, and head to a field.
