Hey guys, just wanted everyone to take a minute to give a prayer to the Suffolk County Police Officer that died in the line of duty the other night due to yet another dumb ass drunk driver.

R.I.P. P.O. Glen Ciano.

My condolences to the Ciano family, and prayers for the departed Officer. I hope we learn something by this regarding DWI/DUI and conditional licensing.

His Dad also was killed while riding a Motorcycle five years after retiring from the NYPD. What a horrible shame.

Steve

Sad that Albany and the courts still aren't ready to do anything about it. shakehead.gif

Caught once DWI... 90 days and 5000. and 3 year suspension.

Caught twice... 10 years and no license (lifetime).

Drive on suspended license... 5 years and 5000. no license.

Drive on out of state license after revocation of state license... 5 years and 5000.

i think if you lose your license you should lose your plates and are unable to register a car and when the license gets reinstated then you can renew your plates
