Plug drying spinner

Has anyone built their own plug drying spinner? Some pics would be good and a materials list (kind of motor needed, setup) Just trying to get some ideas.Thanks

Andy, I dont usually like to send folks out of this forum, but have you asked/searched the plug builders forum? I'd bet dollars to donuts someone has already done a thread on this (Sudsy wink.gif )

Yes, I turned them down to press fit into the PVC.

I've since given that turner away. I found a better clearcoat that I spray and don't have to turn. It looks like Envrotex without the hassles.

and it's better. It doesn't flake off after getting damaged as envrotex can...

I told one other builder and he's now using it too. He and swore not to disclose it.

 

It's the holy grail of clears... took a lot of trial and error to find it. Sorry redface.gif
