Half Step is playing JD's. Reckoning and the electrix's are really good. If you like Reckoning you should check out there side projects. Like KGB or Movement. Reckoning is now back to playing one a month at the new village pub in Port Jeff.

Just read this on Myspace

Rob DePaolo

It is with the deepest sorrow that I must convey this news.

Robbie suffered a heart attack yesterday morning and he is no longer with us.

I and the rest of the band members are still in shock over our loss.

I have known and played with Robbie since the early 1970's and have lost more than a friend and band member. He was like a brother to me.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends.

Please keep Rob and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

View PostI used to see this band the Zen Trixters at a place called "The Wetlands", in Tribeca, probably the best dead cover band I've seen.

Zen Tricksters are still around.. they changed thier name to Donna Jean (godchaux) and the tricksters. doing all orginal music and doing pretty well.. the zen trickster were by far the best dead cover band around that I had seen for a long time.. until now, Dark Star is ah-fricken-mazing.. just as good as the dead, sometimes sound better too.. LOL

Wetlands was my favorite place to see a band, now the nokia in times square is the balls.. awesome sound, bars, lounge area.. great venue
