Hi all: My name is Jim. I love this site and thought I would join in. You have everything I am interested in right here on SurfTalk. I live in Chesapeake VA. I love to salt and freshwater fish. I scoot along in my very sweet Wellcraft V-20 on the Chesapeake Bay and scoot along on my Jon Boat at Lake Kerr. I have been recently toughed by the flyfishing bug. I have been on a few guided trips in the mountains fly fishing for trout. I have been gearing up for some saltwater fly fishing in the bay. I am going to try fishing from a kayak this summmer. I am an overweight cripple with an ankle fusion and recently new hip replacement. I am working on getting my bod in shape so I can kayak without killing myself. Thanks for a great site. Jim

Aather passing by his son's bedroom was astonished to see that his bedwas nicely made and everything was picked up.Then he saw an envelope, propped up prominently on the pillow that wasaddressed to ' Dad .' With the worst premonition he opened the envelope with trembling hands andread the letter. Dear Dad : It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing you. I had toelope with my new girlfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with Momand you. I have been finding real passion with Stacy and she is so nice. But I knew you would not approve of her because of all her piercings, tattoos, tight motorcycle clothes and the fact that she is much older than I am. But it's not only the passion... Dad she's pregnant.Stacy said that we will be very happy. She owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the wholewinter. We share a dream of having many more children. Stacy has opened my eyes to the fact that marijuana doesn't reallyhurt anyone. We'll be growing it for ourselves and trading it with theother people that live nearby for cocaine and ecstasy. In the meantime we will pray that science will find a cure for AIDS soStacy can get better. She deserves it. Don't worry Dad . I'm 15 and I know how to take care of myself. Someday I'm sure that we will be back to visit so that you can get toknow your grandchildren.

Love,

Your Son Cody

P.S. Dad, none of the above is true. I'm over at Tommy's house. I just wanted to remind you that there are worse things in life than the report card that's in my center desk drawer. I love you.Call me when it's safe to come home.

I should be paid in full! A lawyer runs a stop sign and gets pulled over by a sheriff's deputy. He thinks that he is smarter than the deputy because he is a lawyer from New York and is certain that he has a better education than any cop from Houston , Texas . He decides to prove this to himself and have some fun at the Texas deputy's expense.

The deputy says,' License and registration, please.'

'What for?' says the lawyer.

The deputy says, 'You didn't come to a complete stop at the stop sign.'

Then the lawyer says, 'I slowed down, and no one was coming.'

'You still didn't come to a complete stop, Says the deputy. License and registration, please.'

The lawyer says, 'What's the difference?'

'The difference is you have to come to complete stop, that's the law License and registration, please!' the Deputy says.

Lawyer says, 'If you can show me the legal difference between slow down and stop, I'll give you my license and registration; and you give me the ticket. If not, you let me go and don't give me the ticket.'

'That sounds fair. Please exit your vehicle, sir,' the deputy says.

At this point, the deputy takes out his nightstick and starts beating the day lights out of the lawyer and says, 'Do you want me to stop, or just slow down?'
