Rattlin popper

So after a few attempts, I made a popper that sits the way I want at rest, goes nose down when popped (at least in the tub), and sends out a loud single clack when the internal weight moves up and down on the through wire. It was a bit tough to make the rattle chamber water tight, but it doesn't leak for now- I'm not sure what will happen after a few fish. It's belly weighted in front of the belly hook and has a 1" by 7/32"OD tail wieght that slides up and down on the through wire. I used a 1/2" forsner bit to drill the chamber, ran the through wire and added epoxy befor sliding a 3/8" gromit down the wire to seal off the chamber (fouth pic). Once the epoxy was dry I cut the nub off of a 1/2" gromit (last pic) and sunk it slightly down into the chamber before finishing. When the finish was tacky, I put one more 1/2" gromit over the wire so I had somthing strong to wrap the wire up tight to without comprimising the finish and ensuring it was water tight. I'd love to hear any possitive or negative feed back.
