Tempura Crumbs- How to

So a bunch of people were wondering about these "Temura Crumbs" recently. Someone just so happen to be making them at work last night so I got the low down. Very simple, make your Tempura batter, make sure its on the loose/thin side then transfer it into a piping bag. Now you will either need a deep fryer or a large pot with 6 or so inches or oil going at 375. Snip a very small hole in the tip of the bag(best to use the disposable bags) and "pipe" the mixture into the oil while doing zig zags around the pot or fryer.

When the better hits the oil is will break up into little bits and fry up. Use a spyder or strainer to scoop out the crumbs. Put them on a smeetpan lined with papertowels to soak up the dripping oil. Season with a little salt. Done deal!

THANK YOU BRETT!!!! I guess you would need to make sure you pipe it really thin so you don't get a Japanese Funnel Cake....I was sure hoping I could buy them, but it seems simple enough to do as explained.

Thanks Again.
