Bacon Explosion

Try a "simple one" first. Get a one pound "log" of good old Jimmy Dean. Unwrap it whole and hit it with your favorite BBQ rub. Put it on a smoky grill indirect at around 225 degrees and cook it to 165 degrees.

Wrap it up and stick it in the fridge whole and break it out for breakfast. Slice it and zap it. Its darn yummy.

Then you can start smashing it flat and "stuffing it". Cheese and jalapenos, sauteed onion and mushroom, etc.

"When you can snatch the Thermapen from my hand, Grasshopper, you may try the Bacon Explosion."
