cp over ncp

I am trying to do a plaid wrap, and am hoping to use cp thread over a white ncp underwrap. I personally don't like wrapping onto epoxy, so I am wondering if anyone has ever wrapped cp thread over ncp? Does the color preserver contained in the ncp thread bleed into the cp thread when I apply the epoxy? As always, any insight is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Peter

I have not seen CP re liquify and flow anywhere when epoxy is applied. Now if you go near it with Alchohol it will but dried CP is stable when Epoxy is applied over it.

If you put cp over NCP thread (some people do in certain cases) you need to be sure its very thin or you will lose the brightness of the thread. It won't chnage color but some of the pizzaz is lost.
