Em cast pro or Cabo 50/60

Usually I am pretty good at decision making when it comes to equipment. However when it comes to backup stuff I usually pay no mind and buy whatever. This time around I would like to invest my time and find out what your opinions would be on both reels. Pluggin only on a 10- 11 foot tiralejo, SS, and a st croix elite, throwin 40lb suffix braid.. Distance isn't a big deal I can get plenty regardless, fully aware that the huge tapered daiwa spool will help a bit. How do they hold up in the salt. Are they built tough internally or will their drive gear blow out? I prefer daiwa in general but if the cabo is the better of the two I'm in. beers.gif

Thanks in advance

You mean Emblem Pro, right? The Emcast is kind of a cheapie and not really comparable to the Cabo.

The Emblem Pro is a better value as its about $60 less and comes with a spare spool.

It is physically much larger, and holds more line.

They're about the same weight.

They're both comparably durable.

The Emblem has a much faster retreive, which can be an advantage and a disadvantage.

The Emblem is designed to cast farther.

They both have quality drags.
