when its dry biggrin.gif

seriously though, it all depends on the environment its in, for how long it will take to dry. I'd say a day or 2 probably.

or, if you're lucky you won't see any cracks at all !

most likely, of course feeding it to bluefish and banging it off rocks, etc may compromise the sealage and cause it to crack, I would say if it passed the water dunk test, you should be ok though, you can really only truly tell once you fish it I guess.

Glad to see you took the time to dunk-test though, a lot of people wouldn't spend the time to do something like that. Good job icon14.gif

Just a thought, if that is a cedar plug, 2 days soaking will soak up enough BLO to make it a sponge, and it will take forever, if ever, to dry. I used to soak them for no more than 15 minutes.

Then, after re-reading your post, you may not be talking about sealing the plug.....are you just torture testing it??? headscratch.gif
