Laptop RAM

8 posts in this topic

Just upgraded my RAM in my laptop from 2GB or RAM to 4 GB

I have these (2) Hynix 1 GB Ram

525

Specs on each:

1 GB 2Rx8 PC2-4200S-444-12

200 Pin DDR2 SODIMM

These came out of a Dell Inspiron laptop.

Will ship them for $17 or will trade for a 2oz or 2.75oz gibbs pencil (white/yellow/ or blue).

I'm not too computer savvy in regards to memory/processors etc redface.gif

Not sure on what model laptop she has, but I believe you can check on some websites to see if it is compatible.

I believe on buycomputermemory or crucial websites allow you to see what you computer is compatible with.

Either that or shoot Compaq an email.

If you you think it will work let me know.

There are DDR, DDR2, and DDR3 chips. I believe they are all different.

I think jbt's DDR333 is a DDR at a 333 speed.

Tiger Direct has a memory sales thing that lets you put in your computer make and model and they will tell you what memory you need.

Peace

Go to www.crucial.com on the right is the Memory Advisor Tool. Put in your information and it will tell you what memory is compatible with your computer.
