All of these were turned free hand. Less than 3 minutes turned from square to sanded, 220 grit.

All you have to do is practice. The original "Surf Howdy" 1.5 oz.

Sweet plugs bernzy.

 

I lended a howdy to a friend who popped it off on a blue. That is one of many plugs I have given to friends and they have lost but that howdy is the only one I have held a grudge on someone for.beatin.gif

 

Great colors for some great fish catching plugs.clapping.gif

Bernzy, I'm confused... headscratch.gif How come I don't have a surf howdy??

 

 

I agree with you though, I don't have a dup, and can make similar plugs rather effectively, although I think it would be faster with a dup. Turning down to certain dimensions is almost by feel though, you can "tell" when its at the diameter you want.
