Donadong
I live close to the Charles, in the Dedham area. I recently found this one spot where I've caught 3 small 18-22' Pike and 4 Large Mouths over 3 lbs. The spot sucks to get to but produces. Can you point me in the right direction as far as ease of parking near a decent spot on the Charles? Is this out of line?

Tunastick
I have caught channels in january in ponds that had ice all around them, so I would think they would feed anytime just not as heavily as warmer months
rippinlips
If anyone plans on hitting the Charles for Catfish fish <edit - Spotburn ~ Sudsy> . Tons of catfish come out at night, most of them in the 1-2Lb range, some big ones do come out.

rippinlips
You didn't just burn... you incinerated Actually I didnt burn anything just helping out someone looking to go catfishing. Thats a very well known spot and a community hole for many. I dont believe in spot burning unless someone showed you a spot that they asked you to keep quiet that nobody fishes. Fishermen have been fishing this spot for generations so I dont see the point of even making a comment about spot burning.
