eelman45
was going to go out tonight sat/but guess not. i usually love to go in the rain, but don't know about the wind. don't want any backlash plugs in the face. also rough seas. don't need to go swimming this time of year. thanks. for the update. valuable info.saves me time. don't have to research weather now. pogie_boy
I actually tried fishing Sakkonnet, some follows at "sunrise" but no joy. Surf was outrageous, winds were no problem though. There were 4 guys having a GREAT time surfing by the time I left at 10 DITCH TROLL
Bruce in RI
I haven't been surfing much since my operation because I don't want to go alone. (I'm not sure if I will have trouble or not getting short of breath.) I ride a longboard, always have. Just so you know, I'm always considerate of the fisherman. I wish completely alone..but i mean i dont know anyone else out there. and btw..I'm always respectful of fisherman too.. except when i was younger growing up in south FL and the homeboys would cast big sinkers at us...then I would bite their line and give it a big tug.. only to watch them set up as hard as they could...just a big SWINGGG and MISSSS... they usually smack who ever was standing behind them in the head and then get into a big yelling match... only to scratch their head when all they brought in was a tag end My boys said i was worse than a cuda
isleomaniac
Been surfing since 1966. Have had some good fishing outings before and after surfing. A lot of the time sitting on the board I would get to watch the bass breaking the surface chasing bait in the whitewater zone while riding the waves. If the waves were no good, some fishing occasionally saved the day. Worm Hatch Inspector.
