So any of you guys know anything about old furniture? I think my parents bought it in the late 50's or early 60's. It still looks like new, she took great care of it. mybeach Posted November 15, 2008 Report Share Posted November 15, 2008 Late 1950's, early 1960's American manufacturer of a takeoff on the ArtDeco period. The fluted glass panels are a dating element, cabinetry probably made of maple, maybe birch. Beautiful set. Very nice indeed. I'd buy it. High end when it was new, indeed. How does the table separate for the leaves? All wooden slides or are gears involved? Any markings burned into the underside of the table? Any marks on the inside of the center drawer for the buffet?
