Does anyone have a GSB 1081L...

...And lives close enough to Surfland on Plum Island and might be willing to bring their rod down one weekend so I can take a look at it? I's really like to hold one and talk to someone about what they think of their rod.

 

If anyone is willing, please let me know. I'd be happy to give them a lure or something for their trouble.

why would u want an 108L? i have the gsb108m setup with the fuji sic high frames nice and light and has enough power to turn a fish in current. the 108L isnt bad but for me it doesnt have the specs im looking for.

Thank you so much for offering. Another member was kind enough to come up today with his finished 120 1 L and 120 1 M for me to get a feel for (thanks again, mark).

 

I think the 120 1 L is going to work better for me -- I don't want to go with anything with less power than that.
