Tagman
I only buy Sony hi def lcd's. These are simply the best. Go to your local electronics store and compare. Sony has the best picture, and the best technology. They might be priced a little higher but they are a superior product.

TimGil
I just got the Samsung LN52A550 in October and I love it!!! Very highly rated and in your price range $1899 at Circuit City (36 months no interest) $1700 on Amazon The Samsung LN46A650 is a little smaller, but has a faster refresh rate (120mhz) which improves picture quality on non-HD programming. $1800 at Circuti City (36 months no interest) Either of these two I dont think you can go wrong!
