I never have much luck striper fishing in the bay. Could you guys post some pics of rigs and lures you use for trolling and casting.

Good seeing you and Dad again the other day kiddo -

 

I never troll the CBBT in Nov/Dec....plenty of fishless boats doing that already.....every time I go I cast around the pilons or along the rocks of the islands.....once in a blue moon I will drop live spot over the tubes or drift an eel on a bobber under the high rise.

 

cruise in & out of the pilons (deep water) and look for fish on your bottom machine: :

 

 

once you find them cast between the pilons and let the jig head/combo go to the botom and work it back to the boat until it gets nailed

 

 

if you are in shallow water along the rocks you will see them too -

 

 

cast storm or other paddle tail lures and work back to the boat

hey jimmy do you guys have the soft plastics in the shop and those ball jig heads too

yes we have the ball head jigs- made by the same old man that makes our sinkers- 2 colors - chart or pink......the 2 tone with the eye i got off ebay

 

i actually prefer the solid punk more

god jimmy those really are some nice fish more than ive ever caught hopefully we can get out there fishing one day so you can show me the ropes
