Tagger
I see retrieve the rate for VS 250 ..4.25 -1 .. or 36" line retrieve ,a turn of the handle .. I can't find the retrieve rate for 275 ?? also if you have one do you think the retrieve rate is too fast for plugging .. heard that .. Black Cloud
same ratio as the 250 but because of the 300 spool it is 40 per turn vs
jfbasser
Emblem Pro is 48 inches per turn...a lot faster than the 275 Spheros 33 inches per turn Sustain 42 inches per turn The 275 is not too fast! Saw a show on Rick Clunn (the bass pro that loves to use a crankbait and made more money on it than most anyone) expecting him to be using slow retrieve reels which were the accepted "norm" at the time. He used all high speed reels on all his rods so he got the same feel. He said you can always slow down and it is very difficult to speed up. I believe what he says. The 250 is like a 706. The 275--imagine a 704/706 body with either a Crack 300 or Mitchell 488 spool. numbskull
Why ? should i suc it up and go ZB.... Nah, I was thinking more about the wetsuit that comes next, and after that the new belt, and new bag, and bigger boga, and eel bag, and rash guard, and gloves, and pliers, and SSU rod, etc. Know how you feel. Got the same disease.
