When to go, Saturday or Sunday?

I can only get down to fish once this weekend, Sat am, Sat pm or Sun am. It looks like rain and south winds Sat. and cold front and west winds Sun. I need some expert advice, when do you guys think will be best? I'm leaning towards Sat. am because the fishing has been good this week so I figure the sooner the better.

If the Marine forecast is correct, the waves and seas will be much bigger on Sunday morning possibly making it hard to fish. A lot of rain is also forecast for Saturday morning. So, it looks like fishable seas with a south wind and rain on Saturday and tall seas but windy and sunny on Sunday.

I guess I'll be getting wet on Saturday and dried out on Sunday.

Based on the last couple of weeks, whatever I bring to use is not what I end up using. Conditions are always a little different from what I expected.

My choice is fish Sat. or blow off dinner with the in laws and fish Sun. biggrin.gif

mmmm......Fishing with my son Sat for now. The wife would appreciate that.

Just need to stay dry & fish Sat. May as well teach my son now. Fish when you can.

I think your figuring wrong, given the choices I'd go with Saturday PM, a couple days after a full moon, a day or so after it blows South which usually sucks and the crowds will be thinner. The problem with Sunday AM is even if you get there by 5, by 8 most of the fishings done and Sunday mornings are packed along the beach. Saturday night gives you all kind of stupid hours to try things, many of them alone!!

I might have shot Saturday afternoon into Sunday. I would love to see some big water over the lake that I've heard described in a lot of recent reports.

Tuesday night it was like a farm pond....

Looking forward to seeing some suds....

I'll be at IBSP Saturday morning until Sunday afternoon with my 9 and 6 year old boys. Love having the buggy pass! They'll fish when there's action and hang in the buggy if it's very snotty or cold.

I'll be way south of IBSP tomorrow. Have my beach permits for a few towns in the "deep south of jersey" wink.gif . Next year I need to get an IBSP permit.

Good Luck
