Bob Thomas
Hey gang..... I purchased a Jet Hanging Air Filter, Model AFS-1000B last year and gave it a nice cleaning today. When I removed the second filter (inside one) I noticed there were 4 plastic wrapped 8" x 8" Styrofoam blocks inside the unit just "floating" around. Are these supposed to be inside or was I supposed to remove them? I checked the manual and it mentions nothing about them at all. This is the unit I have....thanks for any info! Plug n Flyguy
. Those were in there for shipping purposes so the filter wouldn't collapse. Throw them out.

Charleston
I had a guy come to my shop to learn to turn plugs. I requested that he bring his own face shield and tools. I kept seeing him try to peek under the shield. I asked him what was wrong. He told me the glass was real hard to see through. I took his face shield and removed the protective film fom both sides of the shield. I handed it back to him and said "see if you like this better" Your air filter will move some air now! I am old but I'm slow.
Bob Thomas
I guess this ranks right up there with fishing storm shads. "Why can't I get a good hook set?" "Did you remove the plastic hook guards?" "ahhh....no?!" Bob ThomasSOL#
