buckmaster
THey are often used on duck hunting boats, cheap and reliable....however....they are for FRESHWATER USE ONLY.....which would probably disqualify it for your purposes. dalelin
I own one. Bought it new threee years ago. Paid about $400 from a dealer. It was a floor display and he was not going to sell them anymore. It is a 5HP 4 stroke air cooled engine. Pretty much a lawnmower with a propeller on it. It is a reliable engine. Uses very little gas. Downside is it shakes the crap out of your arm and is noisy. Search around for a second hand. A lot of people who bought these try to sell them after a bit of use because of the excessive vibration. I like it for what I use it for. I have it on an old (1950's) 16' aluminum rowboat. Mostly I take my grandkids perch fishing in it. Thanks. Dale
basenjib123
You are so right about those suckers vibrating. I rented a small skiff with a B&S motor on it. By the end of the day .. my teeth hurt so bad I almost went to the ER! My arm did not feel normal for about 2 days. It did run perfect all day though. *
happytim
I love mine, I change the sliencer and it was less noisy. No vibration, and It pushes a 16 footer with no problem. Not responsible for any typo's or grammar errors.
