hamlet
question... the tip half of the rod... the ferrule... does the tip section slide over the butt section? Or does it slide into the butt section? I won't tolerate your intolerance, because I hate hate.

mako20ft
It doesn't make me happy to throw this out there but it should be considered. Barefoot is out of business so the warranty isn't gonna be much comfort. That said, I've picked up the 8' and 9' versions in conventional for guest back-ups. At there price they are well built...frankly they've both been somewhat abused by my kids and their friends. Since I bought them in early April that's a pretty fair amount of hands on and so far...no missing guides or cracked wrappings. Come to think of it...who in there right mind keeps conventional rigs for guests? Dutch The wheels on my reels go round and round...round and round...round and round...
