ScottCullen
Hi, Can anyone recommend a place or website that I can buy foul weather gear at a good price? I live in Woburn but have a place in Yarmouth, so I don't mind driving to a store in with-in 25 miles of either town. Thanks for the help. Cheers, Scott
FishAgain
It depends upon what level of quality you want. Job Lot or Army/Navy or WalMart will sell you cheap stuff cheap. If you want quality go to West Marine or better yet google "Gill" or "Patagonia"
ScottCullen
Thanks for the reply-I am looking for good quality. I believe that you get what you pay for. Often Low Cost = Low Quality.
Ratty
Cabela's or LL Bean , both stand behind their products. Surfcasting is NOT a crime.
FishAgain
West Marine gear is okay, but if this is hard core off shore sailing or equivalent use look at Gill, Henri Llyou or Patagonia
the_tin_squid
Are you looking for canvas n' rubber "wintertime" foul weather gear or woven nylon "summertime" foul weather gear?

Eagles Dare
REI online is another place to check, especially around labor day. I picked up a nice splash top for $30 this fall. I'll have mine on the rocks.
Delta17
You can get Grunden's at many places. Mine are 6 years old still getting broken in. Buy once. That's the savings. C.G.Edwards in Southie, & New England Marine in Brant Rock or Portsmouth NH both carry them. I think they go for about $150 for top and bottom, bought separate. Joe G
Bananas in Wareham.....just east of the WalMart and Stop and Shop.....good selection of foul weather and work gear, and footwear directed at outside workers...construction and fishermen. Ships Supply in Sandwich......foul weather gear for commercial fishermen. Give both a telephone call and ask what they have...numbers are online or avaliable from the operator. Good luck
Striped Bass
Do a search for Grunden's in your area you should be able to find it, they make an excellent pullover top with hood, neoprene cuffs, and neck seal for a good price. Ba Ba Buoy
Just got the Grundens breathable jacket and pants at Larry's tackle shop (they have a website).
