Phil L
Hey Folks, Decided to let go of one of my antique motors. Its a 1956 Evinrude Fastwin 18hp tiller motor. The motor has been completely torn apart, rebuilt and refurbished and repainted/decaled to showroom floor type appearance. Block has been torn apart, cylinders rehoned, pistons reringed, matched with excellent roller bearings, new upper and lower seals. Reeds/cage cleaned, checked against specs. New magneto's, points, wires. Carb rebuilt with needles refurbished. New exhaust tube grommit in the mid. Intake side of the motor was modified to utilize fuel pump and new style fuel tank. This modification can be reversed as I have extra intake covers. Lower unit was completly torn down and all new bearing, bushing and case half seals installed, including shift rod seals, new water pump. Entire motor was bead blasted and repainted to 56 specifications with original decals applied. Motor runs excellent and would give years of service as a crabbing, cruising, motor for any small boat. Not the junk you usually find on Ebay. Enclosed are pics...note prop is now reconditioned and painted. Am asking 400. Please call 215-768-1624 or email at pl24@drexel.edu for more information. Located near Westville NJ. Phil L
TimS
Phil, the BST Rules have changed over the years - we don't allow items to be listed for sale here while they are listed elsewhere - if you want to offer it here, you gotta remove it from other sites. If you want to offer it on other sites, let me know and I'll remove it from here. Nothing personal, it's just the rules TimS Show someone how to catch striped bass and they'll be ready to fish anywhere. Show someone where to go striped bass fishing and you'll have a desperate report chaser with loose lips.
