It does need a new bail spring (I think) as the bail unlocks but doesn't flip shut. I close it by hand on all my reels so it didn't bother me. I just bought an accurate 270 and need to pay for it. I know you want to help! It is spooled with Suffix Key Lime IGFA 12lb test. If you don't want the line I will take it off as it is brand new! I'll have a couple more things coming up this week as well. I just have to decide what I want to part with. Will sell for $65 shipped (price dropped to $55 shipped) paid by paypal, MO, or check.
