wshot
Steelhead fishing in the salmon river is good. Mostly steelies with an occasional browns. Upper river is doing good but thats where all the crowds are. Bead and egg sacks under float or bottom bounced are producing. Creeks towards the Rochester have browns, Oswego was good last week for browns. Hope that helps. wshot

passiton
Oswego was good last week for browns. wshot Uh uh. You sure about that? I agree with the rest though. I have someone who fishes the Oswego daily and i cancelled a 3 day trip based on what they caught (or didn't catch). My BIL also just spent 3 days there. I will say that while the number of fish is seriously lacking in the Oswego, the size has been impressive. NOBODY here has a pass to blow out someone else's candle in order to make theirs shine brighter. TLDig[
DAQ
The fishing in Oswego was not very good at the end of last week and over the weekend. Embrace American Privilege

Loki
I was up there this past weekend .Sat lots of rain actual flow at about 1000cfs. We tried spots downstream that produced in the past and nada so we moved upstream and hooked up a few ,almost landed one but a helpful googan tried to net my fish and knocked him off. Next day we had a good day upstream, I landed 8 fish to about 8 lbs. My buddy landed a couple and broke off a few due to some bad flourocarbon. Hope this helps I look to the sea, Reflections in the waves spark my memory, Some happy, some sad,I think of childhood friends and the dreams we had-Styx
FisherTim
We fished Sun-Wed. Water was up , so access to some of the better spots was cut off. We managed some fish in Douglaston, but not enough to go a scond day @ $30. Upper Fly strech was the best for us. Big Wooly Buggers and stoneflies were the best flies. Though I did catch 3 on the Whitackers red bead "fly of the week" off thier website. Was all that was working that day. Easy to tie. And of course it rained, sleeted, hailed and snowed; usually at the same time! This guy was only about 16", but you can see the fly. He was fun; jumped a half a dozen times! One of the guys caught a 6-7" steelie.
