WTB: 10' Daiwa Sealine-X--Conventional

Recommended Posts

Got Fish is looking for the Spinning version but I'm trying for the Conventional. I know it's being pretty specific but I've already got a 10' version of this older Daiwa rod and I'd really like to make it a pair. With a 6500 Pro Rocket it's light as a feather and pretty darn strong to boot. This is the 10' version rated 3-6oz with blue and gold wraps.

Again, it's a reach cwm27.gif but I can offer cash or trade depending on what someone may be looking for. I drive pretty regularly from the Canal to SoCo and points north so I can make it work without shipping if it helps.

Like all my searches...doesn't need to be perfect just serviceable.

Thanks all...Dutch

View PostI have an 11' Sealine-X conv. Older model, blue wrap. I'm looking to get $70 for it, just to make back what I paid.

Sudsy and Tagger plugs are a welcome trade as well.

It's in mint condition, I can post pics when I get home tonight.

Not sure if thats too big?

Don't worry about pics...mint is mint. Can you double check the rating and guide count for me? BTW, where is Somerville? Dutch

I have one of those (Sealine-x 10' 3-6 oz) and never use it. But I doubt I'll be in RI again till spring.

"Plugs There are about 4,000,000 of these on the market. Not really, but that's just the way it seems(and some guy invented 3 more while I was writing this sentence)from How To Catch Salt Water Fish by Bill Wisner published in1955

Pete, let's figure a way to make this work. I'm close to being done for the year so waiting until spring isn't a stretch. Can one or the other of us remember to stay in contact? That rod is just perfect around here for plugging. PM sent with my contact information...wish I had an extra tube cause shipping a 2-PC wouldn't be bad. Dutch

I bet that rod would be killer for the canal but it's too heavy for my needs. Bummer... If I start throwing bait you can look for a PM in the spring wink.gif Dutch

View PostPete is checking on shipping possibilities but a bump in case anyone else might have one taking up space. Dutch

Pete was able to make the shipping work so "I'll take it" needs to be here. Buying price is $60 plus shipping estimated around $9. Many thanks to Tim and SOL. Dutch

Note to Mr. Pete, the rod is perfect and now sits with his "brother" in the rack waiting better weather.

Note to anyone else, Pete tossed in a few plugs gratis' without me even asking or knowing. Class act all the way...beers.gif

The good karma will be returned shortly...please stay tuned. Dutch
