big country
Guys, Im tired of sharing my PC with two kids who always want to play "horsey games" while im shooting people and blowing things up on Call of Duty.. LOL Im looking for a laptop that works well with no issues, that has the ability to conenct wireless to a router so that my kids can play there online games etc.. doesnt have to be anyhting more than have the ability to get on the Internet websites such as Disney Online, etc.. if I could load some older kid games that are small in size that would be great too.. I guess it would have to have a DVD drive as well as that is what all the kids games are on. I cant afford too much, so if you have one thats not being used or you upgraded and have one in working order collecting dust, it would be much appreciated by my 4 and 8 year old kids.. my daughter tried to buy one with her $37 savings last night in best buy.. I told her she was a little short, so hence Im trying here.. LOL thanks fellas.. I appreciate it.. however, if you needed or want anything in trade, I have TONS of plugs, fishing stuff, anyhting you could want that I would be willing to trade let me know and again, thanks for the gesture.. little striker
Hey Big C, Lets see if anyone is able to help you out here. I wouldnt be surprised if someone had an older laptop lying around that they could part with for less. It is very tempting to acquire a TON of plugs from you, but it may be a bit overkill, and I would feel bad making you part with 300 worth of your gear to help out your lil ones. I actually have a real beater with a small crack in the caseing 9that doesnt affect operation) and the battery power does not work for some reason. Im not tech savy, could be a bunk battery or bad connection, but the computer works fine when plugged into a wall. Its a Dell with 17 inch screen (big) And fully functional. I could get that to ya cheap or for some gear. Lemme know what you think. little striker
Here's a bump for ya. And if you want that beater Laptop. I'd give it to ya for 40+shipping or some plugage. Anybody got a machine out there for a good cause..? Sorry, I saw this "but still too much for what I need it for" and assumed you were not interested. As for stealing from your kids, that is another issue, I think. Cabo. little striker
Your right Cabo but technically its supposed to be done in another thread, sometimes its inevitable.. BC I hope its cool with you, (since it doesnt seem to be the right fit) but I will post the HP on the forum. It wont go for 300 though unless somebodys got cute kids,,, Big Country let me know if I can help out in any way, or if you'd like that beater. Dali
I have a 12" laptop o this forum HP but no cd. You would have to buy external one for like $50-60. Its very light and the battery last for hours. (*member formerly known as 'cikakure')
