my lathe broke down .and im not sitting home to get screamed at from the old lady again . efff it im going fishing . ti think ill be running around the raritan bay somewhere any ideas where to try ?? i do know a place to get outa this east wind .

unless you fish in the back,most beaches and jetties around here are underwater and the surf looks like yoohoo

Thank you for the link. The reason I asked was that I had read on the SH website that the beaches closed at sunset. Do these right apply for SH as well?

At Sandy Hook, you need a night pass which is about 50 to be paid by check at the ranger station which is about a mile or two into the park. They are open 24 hours a day. the pass is good from sunset to sunrise. The other times, SH is free in the off season. I would highly recommend the pass because the best fishing is during the "night" hours.

 

Can't remember if they take cash but there are a lot of threads on this subject.
