JayDag1128
Are you implying here that a NE blow is bad? I just finsished reading "saltwater fishing: a tactical approach" by jim freda and he claims a NE wind is favorable because it pushes the bait into the beach... mind you im still learning. So which is it bad or favorable?
Bubba97
I was wondering the same thing!!! People on this board alwase complain when its Nor East , but supposedly that pushes the bait onto the beaches?? Dont get it Stocked fish are like tourists. They travel in crowds.Eat things no self respecting resident would.Pass by the excellent local cuisine .Are ignored by residents

sicrado
Right now its blowing pretty hard.... "Windy, with a north wind between 25 and 29 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph." Its blowing a lil to hard to fish for me... I dont mind 15mph maybe even 20 but 30?? try throwing a plug/bait out into that!!
Eric_S
Build some plugs and tie some teasers. No point in taking a beating to catch the same small fish that will be there when the ocean is flat again.
JayDag1128
so at the begininng of a NE blow or when its not blowing to hard for an extended period of time, i see.

CharlieK
A younger CharlieK would be with you too. I can remember throwing 3 oz needlefish into the teeth of of 40 mph noreaster and cranking a fast as possible just to tighten up the slack and have a fish on every cast. A quality fish. They love it like this. The plug never got far, maybe 15 feet, but that's all you needed. See ya tomorrow night NIB.
