Are you implying here that a NE blow is bad? I just finsished reading "saltwater fishing: a tactical approach" by jim freda and he claims a NE wind is favorable because it pushes the bait into the beach... mind you im still learning. So which is it bad or favorable?

Stocked fish are like tourists. They travel in crowds.Eat things no self respecting resident would.Pass by the excellent local cuisine .Are ignored by residents

A younger CharlieK would be with you too.

I can remember throwing 3 oz needlefish into the teeth of of 40 mph noreaster and cranking a fast as possible just to tighten up the slack and have a fish on every cast. A quality fish. They love it like this. The plug never got far, maybe 15 feet, but that's all you needed.

See ya tomorrow night NIB.
