golden
i've caught them in Ptown later than this, mixed with big bass blowing up all over a famous beach down there. And, actually the water is warmer than it was in early may when i got my first blue this year. sometimes you're in the right place, right time. there's got to be some big bass passing by. just need a little luck. rocket500
Is that a surface tension lure? Fishing it at night? I love those things.
stryperStalker
Chartreuse has been the hot color for those all season. I put a matching dressed siwash on one and the blues were flying out of the water for it. Haven't tried one at night before...but obviously it works. Nice blue! golden
actually, i was walking it in the afternon, into the night. they were still hitting it, so i kept fishing it. the bite did die down, but i left right after this one, so who knows how long they were hitting topwater at night. Night Troll
Golden should change his name to SurfaceTensionAddict. Â Good write up in the OTW. Â I didn't realize it's versatility. NIGHT TROLL (Ditch Troll of the Darkness!)There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot. ~Steven Wrighthttp://img821.imageshack.us/img821/3376/p5160164.jpg
stryperStalker
Yes, that was a nice write-up. Very versatile lure. I've yet to get a keeper bass on one, but I've definitely had blues come full out of the water chasing them.
rocket500
I am also a Surface tension afficianado. I must own 10 in different sizes and colors. They catch!
