PJJoe
The Point Jude eel bob is a 3/4 oz bullet shaped weight with a swinging 7/0 stainless steel siwash hook. Traditionally you take the back 8 in. or so of an eel and take out about an inch of the meat in the front. Then thread the hook into it like you would on any rubber bait, and tie down the skin right behind the head of the eel bob. This will work with rubber baits as well. It's gives you distance and gets the bait down, with a serious hook that swings, giving it good movement. ps store them in a brine solution so you can use them over and over. They last a long time that way.
