Willy G.
Keep in mind that party/charter fishing in the GOM is now closed to cod. The GOM boats are fishing for pollock, cusk, and haddock. Of course, a pollock slam is always a good time... If you want to catch cod you need to be out of the Gulf of Maine, for which your options are the Helen H, an overnighter w Walshs, or a day trip on the Frances Fleet or other points south. FishNH
I hear the Francis fleet has been doing well on their Cod trips
bradW
do these boats have their own gear? or are you required to bring your own?? i want to get on one of those boats this winter/spring but i have zero gear for that kind of fishing. When we judge or criticize another person, it says nothing about that person;it merely says something about our own need to be critical.-Author Unknown-
