WI Outcast
I thought I should introduce myself. My name is Jim I'm 56 years old and I'm going to take my wife to Puerto Escondido for our 25th wedding anniversary. We are simple people that like to have fun. Our vacations always involve fishing. I researched the fishing on the Mexico Pacific and found this site. So I asked my wife if she wanted to try surf fishing and she said sure. I've been modifying lures and getting my tackle together. Will I be able to cast 150 yd.s no. I will be happy to cast 100 yd.s (back and shoulder problems). HPD says to get up early the fish will be closer to shore. Will we have fun? YOU BET! I'm going on a new adventure with my old buddy. I appreciate all your help. Thanks, Jim (*member formerly known as 'wheelzz')

High Plains Drifter
That's the spirit Jim! It IS all about the fun, the adventure, and sharing it with "buddies"! The research, preparations, and gearing up is engaging but once you are there they all take second fiddle to the FUN! Don't forget to dig your toes in the sand, study the crawlies, gawk around, and feel like kids! - HPD
