Mazz888
Lamiglas Surf King SK-11MHS 11' 2 Anyone have any feedback on these rods, they are reasonably priced and I was thinking about getting one as a backup for jigging and tossing plugs down the canal and does anyone know if the 2 piece design is as strong as the one piece? Thanks JM "Still chasing the one that got away"
rocket500
I have the 10 footer 3-8 oz and it is a fine rod for the money. Its a bit over-rated, you definately can't blast 8oz out there- but no problem to lob it. The guides and reel seat are no-name if that matters. The tip guide looks a little fragile but hasn't let me down. Cork tape handle and the blank seem to be of good quality. For similar money the Tica and Tsunami rods offer better components. waderman1
The rod is built like a tank. Good for plugging and throwing out the occational piece of bait. I had to replace the tip guide because of some googan moves. My only complaint is that the top portion of the rod always used to shift after a cast. I corrected that with some beeswax.... Good sold rod for the money. I put a shimano sustain 5000 on it...... or a baitrunner 3500 would pair nice tEAM dumBASS `·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸><((((º> `·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸><((((º> `·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸><((((º>
WetDreams
I had the 10'MHS and threw up to 5oz in the ditch with it no problem. Its a little too heavy for plugging and watch those guides as I had to replace my original stick and now the second rod I have has also lost an insert after only a few outings. Great rod for the money just look it over good before you buy.
