We don't necessarily think Obama will deliver on all of his promises. Now, tell us all how many of Bush's promises he delivered on? You could start with (multiple choice): Immigration Reform Smaller Government Balanced Budget Social Security Reform A partial list at best, but let's not forget the "uniter" bullcrap, when his chief political aide was working for a "permanent majority". Don't remember Shrubbie promising that, but it sure showed up in just about every major policy decision he ever made... Obama's gonna be working his a$$ off to fix the mess your guy left him with. Remember what Obama said: "We're going to fix the country, and then we're going to fix the world!" Oh, really? We know politicians make promises that can't keep. That's a given. The big difference this time is so many people BELIEVE his promises. Did you hear that voter saying he was going to pay her mortgage? And gas would be paid for? Isn't that wonderful? Over 55 million people didn't believe a word of it. About 7-8 million more fell for it. So who are the ones who are going to feel let down? Does anyone really think this adoration will last? Does anyone think the media honeymoon will continue more than 3 months? And how about in 6 months when Joe Biden says, "Well, I told you so"? As the saying goes, "Be careful what you wish for." You people wanted Obama and now you got him. There is a huge difference in those statements. As in, it's not a top concern like it has been under the Bush Administration. You hear what you want to hear.
